The "A New Type of Plant" quest in ARC Raiders is a fetch mission given by Lance that sends you into the spooky Dam Battlegrounds. It sounds super easy—just grab a flower—but finding the exact spot near the giant robot can be kinda confusing if you don't know where to look. Plus, you have to do the whole thing in One Round without dying, or you lose the plant and have to start over. In this guide, I’m gonna show you exactly where the Baron Husk is and what the plant looks like so you can grab it and get out fast.

Here is the quick breakdown of the mission:
Quest Name: A New Type of Plant

Objective: Search for the plant near the Baron Husk in the Old Battleground and deliver it to Lance.
Map: Dam Battlegrounds
Rewards: 1x Vita Shot, 5x Antiseptic
Condition: Must be done in one life (grab plant + extract).
First, load into the Dam Battlegrounds map. You need to head to the Old Battleground area, which is on the far western side of the map. It is located roughly above the South Swamp Outpost. It’s usually a bit quieter over there compared to the center, but still keep your eyes open for other players.

Once you are in the Old Battleground, look for a massive Baron Husk. It basically looks like a giant dead robot spider that is half-buried in the mud and dirt. You can't miss it, it's huge and looks like a piece of the scenery. The area around it has some debris and metal legs sticking out.

Now you need to find the specific plant. You are looking for a plant with bright orange flowers. It looks kinda like the Great Mullein plants you see elsewhere, but the orange color makes it stand out. Check around the legs of the Baron Husk or tucked right up against the main body wreckage. Interact with it to pick up the Possibly Toxic Plant. Pro Tip: If you have a Safe Pocket, put the plant in there immediately so you don't lose it if you die!

Now that you got the goods, head to an extraction point. The Central Swamp Lift is usually nearby, but it can be risky. Just take it slow and make sure you get out alive. Back in Speranza, hand the plant to Lance to finish the quest.
