¶ ARC Raiders Apollo - Explosives Trader and Gadgets Shop
¶ Apollo bio
In ARC Raiders Apollo is the guy you go to when you need to blow things up. He is a traveling mechanic who chose Speranza as his home for now. He runs a store right next to the Piazza where he sells mostly makeshift grenades and gadgets. even though his items look kind of basic to the untrained eye they are actually very effective. most of the stuff he sells is his own design and has been field tested by daring Raiders on the surface. if you need explosives to clear a room or destroy a drone Apollo is your man.
Lore and Backstory
Apollo is a bit secretive about his past. Speranza is not the first settlement he has lived in but he is vague on the details of where he was before. despite his mysterious history he really tries to make the colony a better place. He knows there is more to life than just survival so he runs a kids football team and helps keep the library stocked with books. He is also a huge fan of hard-boiled detective novels. some people joke that he risks getting concussions just so he can forget the endings and read them again. when he is not dealing with explosives he plays the flute, which is brave for a guy who needs his fingers for bomb making.
Demolition Expert
Because he is so good with explosives Apollo is often in charge of major expansion projects in the underground. whenever the colony needs to free up new living space or expand the tunnels he acts as the foreman. basically if indiscriminate demolition is required he is the one they call. Shani says his energy for improvement and constant cheer are very useful for the settlement even if she doesnt know much about his past.
