The Wasp is a small, unarmored flying drone. Think of them like "mosquitoes"—individually they are weak, but they are very annoying because they hunt in packs. They are faster than the Snitch but aggressive.
Behavior: They almost never fight alone. You will usually see them in small groups of 2 or 3. Sometimes, they act as bodyguards for a bigger drone called a Hornet. If a Snitch spots you, Wasps are usually the first reinforcement to show up.
Wasps don't do massive damage in one hit, but they chip away at your health quickly if you ignore them.
The Laser Lock: Before it shoots, the Wasp will flash a red aiming laser at you. This is your warning.
The Burst: About a second after the laser appears, it fires a quick volley of light bullets.
Movement: They tend to hover in place while shooting, but zip around fast when reloading.
Shoot the Thrusters: The Wasp relies on its rotors/thrusters to stay in the air. If you aim for these engines, you can disable its flight or destabilize it.
Wait for the Hover: It is hard to hit them when they are moving. Wait for the red laser. When they aim, they have to stop moving for a second. That is your best chance to shoot back.
No Armor: They are soft targets. You don't need heavy ammo. An SMG or Assault Rifle is perfect.
Dodge the Laser: As soon as you see the red line on your character, slide or sprint sideways. The bullets will miss you.
Wasps are a good source of ammo and basic tech parts.

What is the "Wasp Driver"? The Wasp Driver is a specific loot drop from this enemy. It is a mechanical part used for crafting upgrades related to speed or drone tech. Make sure to pick it up!
Why are they so hard to hit? They are small and move in 3 dimensions (up, down, left, right). If you are struggling, try using a weapon with a high fire rate like an SMG. Single-shot weapons (like revolvers) are hard to use against Wasps unless you have very good aim.
Do Wasps chase you? Yes. Unlike some ground enemies that get stuck on terrain, Wasps can fly over walls and obstacles to follow you. The only way to escape is to go deep inside a building where they can't maneuver well.
What is the difference between a Wasp and a Hornet? The Wasp is small, weak, and shoots bullets. The Hornet is much bigger, has more health, and usually shoots rockets or heavier lasers. Always kill the Wasps first to clear the air, then focus on the Hornet.
Can I melee a Wasp? Only if it flies very low, but usually they stay out of reach. Don't waste time trying to jump and hit them. Just shoot them down.
