The "Dormant Barons" quest in ARC Raiders is a mission given by Shani where you get to scavenge a really big dead robot. Basically, you have to find a "Baron Husk," which is just the empty shell of one of those giant spider bosses, and steal a power cell from it. It sounds easy since the thing is already dead, but there is a fiery trap that catches a lot of people off guard. In this guide, we will show you where to find one and how to loot it without burning yourself.

Objective: Find and loot a Baron Husk (Get an ARC Powercell)
Recommended Map: Dam Battlegrounds
Rewards: 3x Doorblocker, 3x Li'l Smoke Grenade
First, load into the Dam Battlegrounds map. You are looking for a massive spider-like wreckage. These things are huge, so you can usually see them on your map. A super consistent spot to find one is between Water Treatment Control and the South Swamp Outpost. Just head West from Water Treatment and look for the big metal legs sticking out of the ground.

Once you get to the Baron, you need to climb on top of it. Jump up the legs until you are standing on the main body. Look for a prompt in the middle of the circular section that says "Breach." Hold the button to start breaking in.

This is the part where most people mess up. As soon as you finish breaching, the top of the Baron is going to explode and catch fire. Do not try to loot it immediately or you will take a ton of damage. Jump off and wait for the flames to die down. It takes a minute, so just chill and watch out for other players while you wait.

Once the fire is gone, jump back up and loot the hole you made. You will pick up an ARC Powercell. As soon as this item hits your inventory, the objective is complete! Now you just need to extract safely to keep your stuff.
