The "Keeping the Memory" quest in ARC Raiders is a slightly sad mission given by Celeste. Instead of just looting stuff for yourself, you are helping her pay respects to a fallen soldier from the First Wave. It sounds easy, but finding the exact spot can be super annoying if you don't know where to look. Plus, you have to do the whole thing in One Round without dying, or you fail. In this guide, I’m gonna show you where the wreckage is and where that tiny helmet is hiding so you can finish this fast.

Here is the quick breakdown of the mission:

Objective: Reach the wreckage in Formicai Hills, find the helmet, and place it on the memorial.
Map: Dam Battlegrounds
Rewards: 5x Simple Gun Parts, 5x Duct Tape, 5x Magnet
Condition: Must be done in one life (no dying!).
First, load into the Dam Battlegrounds map. Since you don't actually need to extract with a heavy item (once you place the helmet, you are good), you can totally run a free or cheap loadout. That way if you get sniped by a tryhard, you don't lose your best gun. You need to head to the Formicai Hills area, which is in the southern part of the map. It’s roughly east of the Scrapyard and west of the Testing Annex.

Once you are in the Formicai Hills, look for a huge destroyed Baron. It basically looks like a giant spider robot that is half-buried in the ground. It’s pretty hard to miss because it's massive. Go down to the lowest part where the body of the robot is, not just the legs sticking up.

This is the part where everyone gets stuck. The helmet isn't just sitting out in the open. You have to look for a small green bush or shrub right in front of the Baron's main body. When you get close to the bush, you will see an "Interact" prompt. Press it, and your character will pull the helmet out of the bush. Important: You actually carry the helmet in your hands like a Field Box, which means you can't use your weapon while holding it!

Don't worry, you don't have to walk far. Look for a metal pole or stick sticking out of the ground just a few meters away from the bush. It usually has a blue holographic icon floating over it. Walk up to the pole and interact with it to place the helmet. Once you place it, the quest objective is complete. You can now extract safely or just keep looting, it doesn't matter if you die after this point (but extracting is always better obviously).
For helping Celeste out with this emotional task, you get some crafting mats:
