The "Source of the Contamination" quest in ARC Raiders is a quick exploration mission that you get from Celeste. It is actually pretty easy and you don't even have to extract to finish it, which is awesome if you are playing solo. Basically, you just need to run to the swamp, look at some trash in the water, and you are done. In this guide, we are gonna show you exactly where to go so you can grab your loot fast.

Location: Swamp area near the Water Treatment Building

First, you need to load into the Dam Battlegrounds map. You want to head towards the Water Treatment Building (sometimes called the Water Purifier Control). It is located in the central-left part of the map. You will recognize it because it is a big industrial building with lots of pipes leading out to a swampy area.

Once you are at the building, go around to the back where the swamp is. Be careful because there is usually ARC patrols or random events happening here. You are looking for a concrete section with a big drain hole where dirty water is flowing out into the swamp. This is the Flood Spill Intake you need to find.

Now, look into the shallow water right next to that drain. You should see a floating barrel or a rusty container bobbing in the murky water. That is the source of the pollution. Walk up to it until you see the prompt to "Investigate" and interact with it.

That's it! The quest completes instantly as soon as you check the barrel. You don't need to extract, so you can just leave the match or keep looting without worrying about losing your quest progress.
