¶ Tian Wen bio
In ARC Raiders Tian Wen is the resident Gunsmith of Speranza. If you want high quality firearms you have to deal with her. She is a very mysterious character and most people underground have never seen more than her eyes. She is a recluse who prefers to be alone with her tools instead of talking to people. She honestly does not like Raiders very much and she makes that very clear when you visit her shop. some people call her a "gun nut" because she has a supernatural skill for tech and construction but deep down she has a soft spot for fixing broken things, whether it is a weapon or an action figure.
Lore and Backstory
Tian Wen was just a girl during the First Wave of the ARC attacks. Her mother was Major Aiva, a legendary Raider commander who fought in the early battles. sadly her mother died at the Battle of Victory Ridge and Tian Wen was left alone. The years after that were very hard for her. She learned that having a famous parent does not keep you fed and that people forget the heroes who fought for them. This is why she is so cold towards Raiders today. She believes in fair exchange instead of "humanity's shared struggle." Her rule is simple: twenty cans of food for a good gun, no haggling.
The Gunsmith Shop
You can find her shop hidden in a dark alley off the Piazza. She conducts her business from behind a heavy bulletproof door. Even Celeste does not remember exactly when Tian Wen showed up, she just appeared one day and set up shop. Her mastery of crafting weapons has made her famous in Speranza and beyond. She also has a quiet influence on the Black Market in Toledo where her experimental weapons sometimes show up. Shani usually ignores these shady dealings because so many Raiders rely on Tian Wen for their survival.
