The "Building a Library" quest in ARC Raiders is a mission given by Apollo that is actually pretty chill if you know where to look. Basically, Apollo wants to make the base a bit more fun, so he sends you to the Buried City to find some books for a new library. You have to grab three specific books—a romance one, a detective one, and an adventure one—all in a single run. In this guide, we will show you exactly where the books are so you can get in and out before the big bots show up.

Location: City Center Library (North of Marano Park)

Prerequisite Quest: Digging Up Dirt
First, you need to load into the Buried City map. The Library is located in the City Center, just North of Marano Park. It’s a big building right across from the Town Hall. Be careful getting there though, because the park is usually crawling with enemies like Bombardiers or Bastions.

Once you get inside the Library, head to the big main room that has windows looking out at the park. You don't need to check the shelves one by one. You are looking for small yellow book carts or display stands. The first book is on the ground floor. Look near the window that overlooks the metro station entrance. There is a fallen bookcase there, and the book cart is right next to it. Interact with it to spawn the book, then pick it up.

Now, head up the stairs to the second floor. As soon as you get to the top of the stairs on the west side, look for another book cart right there against the wall. Grab the book and put it in your bag.

For the last book, stay on the second floor and walk along the balcony. Go towards the east side of the room (the other side from where you came up). You will find the last book cart next to some shelves that fell over. Once you have all three books, you are ready to leave.

This is the most important part: You must extract with all 3 books at once. If you die, you lose them and have to start over. Luckily, there is usually a Metro Station extraction point right outside the library front door (the Northern Station). Sneak out there and extract to finish the quest.
